Elena Torgan

General Counsel, Shape Technologies Group

Ms. Elena Torgan is the General Counsel of SHAPE Technologies Group since 2015 and is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal, risk management and compliance matters. In her role, Ms. Torgan advises SHAPE across all of the functional and business unit teams on legal matters, including corporate, intellectual property, contract reviews, litigation, and insurance matters. She has extensive M&A, tax planning and legal restructuring experience and co-leads the SHAPE’s ESG committee.

Ms. Torgan brings more than 20 years of global legal experience and has been with Shape since 2014. Prior to that Ms. Torgan worked for 6 years at Flow International at in various legal department roles with increasing responsibilities. Before joining Flow, Ms. Torgan was a managing attorney at a law firm focusing on litigation and civil law matters.

Ms. Torgan holds a Master degree in Intellectual Property from University of Washington School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Belarusian State University.
